The following is a list of benevolent projects and programs that will benefit from philanthropic support.

The General Endowment Fund
was established as a long-term perpetually endowed fund to provide financial resources for priority projects as directed by the Board of Directors.

The Friendship Fund
is "people giving to people." It represents an act of stewardship, used to help people who have outlived their resources.

The Campus Enhancement Fund
supports specific capital programs that will benefit current and future residents.

The Employee Education Endowment Fund
began with a gift from Marian Findlater, a generous resident who named Friendship Village as a beneficiary in her trust. Her wish was to help fund educational programs for the employees of Friendship Village. Another Fund, the Emergency Assistance Fund, was created to help Friendship Village employees who are faced with a major financial burden or catastrophic event in their lives.

The Chapel Fund
was established by residents, family, and friends to create a Chapel at Friendship Village. The Chapel will become reality with the completion of the Master Site Plan.

The Friendship Center Fund
was established in 2000, to support a pivotal element of our ongoing expansion, Friendship Center. This new building will be home to Friendship Village's lifelong learning programs and a variety of social events, cultural and spiritual opportunities, and community gatherings.

The Special Care Unit at Friendship Village provides memory support services for residents with Alzheimer's and related issues. Gifts to the Special Care Unit fund provide opportunities for renovation, construction, and the creation of new activities.

The Assisted Living Fund
helps us meet the needs of those who live in The Willows. The fund is used for furnishings and equipment; it also supports activities and programs.<

The Unrestricted Fund
will be used for priority projects identified by the Board of Directors.
